VOWS my services as a wedding celebrant
Weddings, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Vows.
Speaking vows of betrothal or renewal to your partner in front of family and friends is one of the most momentous events of your life. Whether it be finding the perfect readings, sourcing music , suggesting meaningful rituals and helping you realise them, together we will write a script that tells the story that you want to tell creating the most magical ceremony, tailored exactly as you envisioned it to be. I will work closely with you and your wedding planner; there is no limit to what we can achieve- and there are no rules.

On the big day I'll lead proceedings with confidence and clarity and my background of theatre directing and drama teaching guarantees that the ceremony will have that added touch of magic.
I can even help you craft your speeches for the celebrations afterwards, and give you useful tips and guidance on public speaking to ensure your special day goes smoothly.

HELLOS my services as a family celebrant
Naming Ceremonies, Adoption Ceremonies, New You Celebrations
Bringing a baby into this world is a significant event and a cause of great celebration. A naming ceremony is the first significant ceremony we have, and as a family celebrant I want to ensure that when your family and friends come together to celebrate the birth of your baby, the ceremony is unique and beautiful as you share your love, happiness and hopes for the future, perhaps with one or two guide-parents by your side. I will help you find the most appropriate readings and poems, and will work with all involved to ensure the ceremony is exactly as you want it.

You may also wish to celebrate the arrival into your family of an adopted child, and introduce them to the wider community of family and friends. An adoption ceremony is a wonderful experience experience for everyone after the often long and difficult road to adoption.

Or maybe you are moving on, and seeking closure from a difficult part of your life, maybe you are changing your name, or want to introduce the world to a new you. I can create a wonderful, informal ceremony for you to share with family and friends. There are no rules, we can create the ceremony you want.

GOODBYES my services as a funeral celebrant
Funerals and Living Funerals
Saying goodbye to someone you love is a difficult time. Using a funeral celebrant allows you to have more choice in how you want the ceremony presented. it ensures the service reflects the deceased's character, personality, loves and life and be as individual as they were. With a civic celebrant the service can be traditional; and have some religious aspects including hymns and readings from the bible, or it can be non-religious and focus on the life, values and beliefs of the individual.

Working with you and your funeral director, I will create the perfect bespoke ceremony. I can source readings, poems and music; work with any other friends and family members who wish to speak, and script for you a eulogy and service that is a true reflection of the one you are saying goodbye to, and a joyous celebration of their life.

Sometimes people choose to have a living funeral. This is much like any other kind of funeral service, except the person being celebrated is still alive. There are no rules about how to do this- a living funeral can follow any structure and include anything you want.They can be serious , or they can be like a big party, where friends and family gather to celebrate your life.

Presiding over the funeral, be it graveside, cremation or a living celebration, I will ensure that the service is exactly how you wish it to be. Please contact me and together we will enure the best send off possible.
